Leaky Gut Syndrome

by mbaker on April 11, 2013

Researchers in France have concluded from their study that there may be a link between intestinal permeability problems and food processing. Intestinal permeability, also known as leaky gut syndrome, maybe the cause for allergies and gastrointestinal distress.  Leaky gut is found in common disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome.  The researchers concluded that intestinal permeability can be significantly improved by dietary additions such as glutamine and curcumin.  The sucrose breath test offered by Metabolic Solutions can be used to confirm the presence of leaky gut syndrome.
